Rush Creek Golf Course Summer Wedding | Christi + Dustin

Christi + Dustin’s summer wedding at Rush Creek Golf Course was one I couldn’t help but be excited for! For starters, the moment I met them we were instantly friends! Their personalities and how they were as a couple was just something I’ve always loved. You also knew it was going to be a wedding to remember because of the way he “propp”osed and their hashtag #propptillyoudrop. Their wedding day came and was exactly how you’d envision it to go! PERFECT! Beautiful weather, details on point, groom got crafty and made some amazing items for their big day (ceremony arch & donut board) and of course so much emotion! They even surprised everyone during their first dance by changing songs to do a choreographed dance to different rap songs! #propptillyoudrop they certainly did!

Thank you Christi + Dustin for your friendship and to Hank for the treats ;) our fur babies loved them!

A Wedding at the The Blaisdell | Rosalie + Brian

The day they have been waiting for finally comes and excitement kicks in as her best girls, hair + makeup artists and close family arrive to start off the best day ever. Popping the bubbly is how Rosalie + Brian’s day started. Every single person who arrived to The Blaisdell in the morning was grinning ear to ear or squealing over how gorgeous one another looked as they finished up hair/makeup. Brian gave the best reaction when he seen his bride for the first time and the details were SO beautiful and classy (as was the whole wedding). Greenery laced the halls and archway as you entered as well as the tables with beautiful multi level candles when the reception came around. What I love most about Brian + Rosalie is how they interact with each other. In one of the best man’s speeches, he said “the only time they have ever seen these two fight was over to have their save the dates be glossy or matte finish” haha. They are SO mellow yet goofy and the whole wedding reflected their personalities with such an awesome friend group.

Congratulations Rosalie + Brian! I wish you many years of silliness, laughter, strength and joy with whatever adventure you find yourself doing. Now, enjoy some sneaks from their wedding day!

Camrose Hill Flower Studio Wedding | Marina + Tyler

Their day started on a slightly overcast summer June day (which I always pray for) on a flower farm that feels like you’ve stepped into a novel. The bride (Marina) specifically selected this day with hopes of the most blooms and great weather. I’d say she freakin nailed it! Her floral was also done by Camrose Hill who created the most stunning bouquets and am still obsessed over the flowers/greens Marina wore in her hair. They paired SO beautifully with her crochet lace dress. Tons of details were even created by the bride her self including those gorgeous dream catches scattered ALL over the property. While getting ready, we even had a visit from a butterfly who hung around for a while. The presence of those who couldn’t be with Marina + Tyler on their wedding day was felt for sure. There was not an inch of ground we didn’t explore this day and the best part? A friend of the couple went to their home and brought their fur babies (cats) to the wedding for a few minutes! That’s my favorite part, when couples incorporate their personalities and what they love in their wedding day. The rest of the night was spent mingling with their friends and family, funny speeches of the good times and dances you cant help but smile when you see the love parents have for their kids.

Thank you Marina + Tyler for choosing me to capture these moments for you! I loved being apart of your team of vendors and wish you both nothing but happiness and furry snuggles - Meow ;)

Jenny + Andrew | Day Block Wedding in Downtown Minneapolis

Where do you even start with a wedding like this?! Let’s take it from the beginning. They met the summer before Jenny’s final year at school. Spent a lot of time together that summer in Eau Claire tubing down the Chippewa river and having bonfires, while bonding over music and the rest has now turned into a beautiful life they now share in a cute little Minneapolis home with their little pup Penelope! One reading from their wedding really hit me in the feels has you can tell not only how much love they have for each other but for their fur baby Penelope. It goes like this:

How falling in Love is like Owning a Dog (excerpt)

By Taylor Mali

On cold winter nights, love is warm.

It lies between you and lives and breathes

and makes funny noises.

Love wakes you up all hours of the night with its needs.

It needs to be fed so it will grow and stay healthy.

Love doesn’t like being left alone for long.

But come home and love is always happy to see you.

It may break a few things accidentally in its passion for life,

but you can never be mad at love for long.

Sometimes love just wants to go out for a nice long walk.

Because love loves exercise. It will run you around the block

and leave you panting, breathless. Pull you in different directions

at once, or wind itself around and around you

until you’re all wound up and you cannot move.

Throw things away and love will bring them back,

again, and again, and again.

But most of all, love needs love, lots of it.

And in return, love loves you and never stops.

How perfect is that?! Jenny, being a graphic designer, absolutely crushed it on the design for her wedding day. Personalized seed packets for table assignments…soft touch programs + invitations…custom made ceremony backdrop… the only thing Jenny didn’t plan was Andrew busting out his guitar after their first dance to sing her “I wanna grow old with you” as seen on the movie “The Wedding Singer”. If that wasn’t perfect enough, we got a STUNNING sunset and evening to sneak away for a moment so they could really take the day in with a gorgeous view of downtown Minneapolis. A perfect day or a great couple. Congratulations Jenny + Andrew (and Penelope)! May you keep your vowed promise of “I promise to stay weird, and in turn love your weirdness, because what kind of love is worth loving if it’s just normal? And I like our weirdness.” because I love your weirdness, cute selves too. xo

Rush Creek Golf Course Wedding | Janet + Brandon

Janet + Brandon got married on one of the prettiest days in April at Rush Creek Golf Course! Being the fun couple that they are, they of course had a fun and hilarious wedding party and wedding in general. There was no end to the amount of laughter and good times that were made on this day. The colors and decor Janet picked out were also VERY refreshing to kick off wedding season after a long cold winter. The night ended on the dance floor where the groom danced for approval in order to get the garter and then had the DJ play their favorite song where the whole dance party and friends gathered for a good time.

Congrats Janet + Brandon! I wish you both the best with many MANY more inside jokes and adventures together.
